s.r.l. (“Company”) provides below the information relating to navigation
data and the functioning of cookies on this site (“Site”), also on the
basis of the indications provided by the Guarantor for the protection of
personal data. For the purposes of this information, the term
"cookie" will also refer to the other tracking tools used by the
Site, as better described below.
The following information is
provided for the Site and not for other third party websites that may be consulted
by the user via links.
This Cookie Policy should be
read in addition to the Privacy Policy available at the following link to which reference
should be made for any other information on the processing of personal data,
including the rights of users and how to exercise them.
The contact details of the Company, for questions and for the exercise of rights relating to the processing of personal data, and of the person responsible for personal data protection (DPO) are as follows: Via Lodovico Seitz 47, 31100, Treviso (TV), Italy and dpo.privacy@delonghigroup.com.
1. Cookie
Cookies are usually strings
of text that websites (so-called publishers or "first party")
visited by the user or different websites or web servers (so-called "third
parties") place and store - directly, in the case of publishers and
indirectly, i.e. through the latter, in the case of "third parties" -
within a terminal device available to the user himself. The terminals referred
to are, for example, a personal computer, a tablet, a smartphone, or any other
device capable of storing information.
Software for browsing the
internet and the operation of these devices, for example browsers, can store
cookies and then transmit them again to the sites that generated them on the
occasion of a subsequent visit by the same user, thus maintaining memory of his
previous interaction with one or more websites.
The information encoded in
cookies may include personal data, such as an IP address, a username, a unique
identifier or an email address, but may also contain non-personal data, such as
language settings or information about the type of device that a person is
using to navigate the site.
Cookies can therefore
perform important and various functions including monitoring sessions, storing
information on specific configurations regarding users who access the server,
facilitating the use of online content, etc. For example, they can be used to
track items in an online shopping cart or information used to fill out a
computer form. Through cookies it is possible to allow web pages to load
faster, as well as route information over a network - therefore in line with
obligations strictly connected to the operation of the websites themselves -
just as always through cookies it is also possible to convey behavioral
advertising (so-called "behavioral advertising") and measure the
effectiveness of the advertising message, or conform the type and methods of
services provided to the behavior of the user subject to previous observation.
1.1. Types of cookies
Cookies can have different
characteristics in terms of time and therefore be considered based on their
duration (session or permanent), or from a subjective point of view (depending
on whether the publisher acts independently or on behalf of the "third
party"). However, the classification that mainly responds to the user's
protection needs is the one based on two macro categories.
A. Technical cookies that do not require the user’s consent
These cookies are used for the
sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an
electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the
provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the
contractor or user to provide this service" (see art. 122, paragraph 1 of
the Privacy Code).
The prior consent of users is not required for
the installation of technical cookies. However, all browsers allow you to change cookie settings. You can
usually find these settings in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your
browser. To understand these settings, the following links may be helpful. Or
you can use the “Help” option in your browser for more information.

·
Cookie settings in Safari and iOS
If the use of technical
cookies is blocked, the service offered to the user through the Site will be
limited, thus influencing the experience of using the Site itself.
B. Cookies that require the user’s
consent
These cookies are used
to trace back to specific, identified or identifiable subjects, specific
actions or recurring behavioral patterns in the use of the features offered
(patterns) for the purpose of grouping the different profiles within
homogeneous clusters of different size, so that it is it is possible for the
owner, among other things, to modulate the provision of the service in an
increasingly personalized way beyond what is strictly necessary for the
provision of the service, as well as to send targeted advertising messages,
i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the the area of web
browsing; this type of cookie can be downloaded onto the user's terminal
only with the latter's consent.
The following types of
cookies present on the Site fall into this category:
-
Preferences: preference cookies allow the website to store information that influences its behavior or appearance, such as the preferred language or the location in which the user is located;
-
Statistics: statistical cookies help website owners to understand how visitors interact with sites by collecting and transmitting information anonymously;
-
Marketing: marketing cookies are used to track users. The purpose is to present advertisements that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and therefore of greater value for third-party publishers and advertisers.
C.
Analytics cookies (which may
or may not require the user's consent depending on the characteristics)
Cookies can also be used, among other things, to evaluate the effectiveness
of an information society service provided by a publisher, to design a website
or to help measure its "traffic", i.e. the number of visitors also
possibly broken down by geographical area, connection time slot or other characteristics.
These identifiers, defined as analytics cookies, can be included in the
category of technical ones, and as such
be used in the absence of the prior acquisition of the interested party's
consent, provided that the following conditions occur:
·
are used solely to produce
aggregate statistics and in relation to a single site or a single mobile
application;
·
for those of third parties, at
least the fourth component of the IP address is masked;
·
third parties refrain from
combining these analytics cookies with other processing (customer files or
statistics of visits to other sites, for example) or from transmitting them to
third parties.
If these conditions are not
met, analytics cookies also require the user's consent to be downloaded.
1.2. Where the information collected through cookies is processed
The information collected
through cookies is mainly processed within the European Economic Area (EEA).
Some third-party cookies, however, may result in a transfer of relevant
information outside the EEA. In this case, the Company has adopted additional
technical and organizational measures in order to guarantee the security of any
personal data transmitted with the information collected by cookies, favoring
their anonymisation where possible. In any case, any transfer is carried out in
compliance with Chapter V of the Personal Data Protection Regulation (EU)
2016/679 ("GDPR") for example because there is an adequacy
decision by the Commission towards the third country European Union pursuant to
Article 45 of the GDPR or because the transfer takes place on the basis of
adequate guarantees pursuant to art. 46 of the GDPR.

Finally, it is specified that any joint ownership, in any case, does not extend to processing carried out by social networks in relation to which the Company does not determine the purposes and means of the processing (e.g. the operations carried out by the social network after the communication of the data of the 'User by the Site).
With reference to the collection and use of information by social networks, please refer to the respective privacy policies.
